Observed research endpoints
- Meta-analysis in moderate-to-critical COVID-19: associated with lower mortality, but no difference in need for mechanical ventilation or hospital stay; authors call for RCTs.
- Meta-analysis in COPD exacerbations: added to routine treatment, improved immune markers, lung function and blood gases; study quality was limited.
