01
Mechanism of action
This pairs a GHRH analog (acts on the pituitary GHRH receptor) with ipamorelin, a selective ghrelin-receptor (GHS-R1a) agonist. The two pathways both trigger growth-hormone release. Ipamorelin was described as the first GH secretagogue that did not raise ACTH or cortisol much in animal studies.
02
Observed research endpoints
- CJC-1295 (the DAC version) in healthy adults: one injection raised mean GH 2–10-fold for 6 days or more and IGF-1 1.5–3-fold for 9–11 days.
- Ipamorelin released GH in rats and pigs with little change in ACTH or cortisol, unlike earlier GHRPs.
- Most published human data uses CJC-1295 with DAC; the no-DAC form in this blend has much shorter activity.
03
Regulatory & safety context
- Neither component is FDA-approved; both are on the World Anti-Doping Agency prohibited list.
- No serious adverse reactions were reported in the CJC-1295 trials in healthy adults.
- No published controlled trials have tested this specific pre-mixed blend.
